Throughout the story, Mikasa is constantly on the frontlines, leading the Scout Regiment in nearly every battle against the Titans, Marleyans, and humanity’s biggest enemy, Eren Yeager.

At the story’s culmination, Mikasa dashes toward Eren's Titan's mouth, kills Eren, and becomes the world’s savior by freeing Ymir and ending the Titan’s Curse.

In the aftermath of Attack on Titan, the fans were scared by a false alarm, seeing Levi among the characters who died. Reiner is a man who put his everything into his duty as a solider. He spent years undercover in Eldia just to betray all of his newly made friends and became one of Eldia’s biggest enemies. He is Marley’s most important and possibly strongest warrior. 

Reiner’s story took a rather drastic turn at the nearing the end of the series. Depressed by his previous choices he made as a warrior, Reiner changed his outlook on the war. He joined forces with his previous enemies, the Scouts, and helped them in defeating Eren.

After The Final War

After the final battle in Isayama's manga, Attack on Titan, Reiner was no longer under the curse of the Titans and doomed to die a short life. He was given a second chance at life, choosing to assist with diplomacy to help keep the peace in the new post-war world.

Regarding his romantic life, the series never explains if he formed a committed relationship. Yet, he can be seen sniffing the fragrance of a letter from Historia, uncovering his unspoken affection for the Eldian Queen. Unfortunately, she was already married, leaving him with unrequited feelings.

Annie Leonheart | A True Warrior

Annie's character evolved from being one of the primary antagonists to an important ally in the final chapters of Attack on Titan. Who is Jean Kirstein and Connie Springer?

These two friends were almost always fighting side by side during the whole course of the Attack on Titan series. They are important members of the Scout Regiment and were integral in almost every major battle in the series. During the final battle, they were transformed into Pure Titans while hugging and embracing their last moments as humans. Fortunately, their Titan experience was brief as they were turned back to their normal selves after Eren was defeated.

After The Final War

When the war ended, Connie and Jean joined in assisting with diplomacy, trying to facilitate the process of achieving global peace. Connie experienced a heartwarming reunion with his mother as she reverted back to human form with the Titan curse being removed. Jean on the other hand, most likely married Mikasa and formed a family with her as was hinted at throughout several scenes in the series.

The 10-year journey of the Attack on Titan series finally came to an end. After thousands of years of constant war and Titan domination, the world was finally liberated. There were no more Titans, and the people were no longer living in fear within the Walls. Everyone could finally enjoy nature, the sea, the flowers, and most importantly, their long-awaited freedom.
