Falco's recently revealed Jaw Titan form is unlike any seen before, as it possesses the ability to fly—something absent in Marcel, Ymir, or Porco's previous Jaw Titan forms. This new Jaw Titan form has left many fans puzzled, questioning why Falco's Titan is different. Even though his name hints at him being able to fly, there's more to the story than just his name alone.
Falco Grice's Titan Form Explained: How Can Falco’s Jaw Titan Fly?
To comprehend the reason behind Falco's flying Jaw Titan, it's essential to revisit key moments from past episodes.
The chain of events began at a dinner honoring Sasha's bravery, where Gabi mustered the courage to confess her role in Sasha's death. Fueled by anger, Niccolo, unaware that the wine had been tampered with by Zeke's spinal fluid, violently swung a bottle towards Gabi. In a protective move, Falco stepped in front of Gabi, absorbing Niccolo's blow, resulting in the bottle shattering and the wine spilling. Unconscious, Falco inadvertently consumed the tainted wine.
While no immediate effects were observed, Zeke Yeager eventually activated his Beast Titan powers to transform all Eldians who had ingested his spinal fluid into Pure Titans, including Falco. In subsequent events, Falco consumed Porco Galliard, the then Jaw Titan, thereby inheriting those powers for himself.
Falco Dreams About a Flying Beast Titan
In the concluding chapters of the manga, Falco, being a Titan shifter, envisions a distinct Beast Titan with the ability to fly, hinting at the eventual form of his Jaw Titan. As the narrative establishes, inheriting a Titan's power includes gaining access to the memories of its previous wielders.
While on a ship to escape the Rumbling, Falco talks with Annie Leonhart, the Female Titan wielder. Annie explains how she can use the powers of other Nine Titans by consuming parts of them, emphasizing that it's especially easy for her given her powers of the Female Titan.
Similarly, Eren unlocks his crystallization powers by ingesting the contents of a bottle labeled "Armor," likely containing spinal fluids from a past Armor Titan.

Both instances underscore the series' adept use of anticipation and symbolism, adding depth to the overall narrative.
The emergence of the Flying Jaw Titan in Attack on Titan marks a refreshing addition to the series, becoming a central player in the climactic final battle. Despite Falco's limited screen time in the concluding episodes, the impact of his presence resonates in the series finale, leaving fans both astonished and intrigued by the mystery surrounding his Titan's newfound flying abilities.
