LEGO Legends of Chima Online was developed by Warner Bros. Games Montréal, aiming to create an immersive and engaging online experience for fans of the LEGO CHIMA franchise. It combined elements of TT Games' LEGO video game titles with traditional RPG elements, creating a unique gameplay experience.

The game made its debut in the fall of 2013, becoming LEGO's second online game after LEGO Universe. It was initially available on PC and iOS platforms, allowing players to explore the vast and dangerous world of CHIMA.

Unfortunately, on April 11, 2015, an announcement was made stating that LEGO Legends of Chima Online would be shut down on June 1st of the same year. Players were informed through the game's website and were encouraged to utilize any remaining in-game currency before the shutdown.

Although the original game is no longer accessible, efforts have been made to rewrite and recreate the game under the name "LOCO Online" (LEGO Legends of Chima Online). While the future of the franchise remains uncertain, the impact and memories of LEGO Legends of Chima Online continue to resonate with its dedicated fanbase.

LEGO Legends of Chima Online was a remarkable MMORPG that transported players into the mythical world of CHIMA. With its engaging gameplay, customization options, and immersive environments, it provided a memorable experience for fans of the LEGO CHIMA franchise. While the game may no longer be playable, its legacy lives on, inspiring future possibilities within the rich world of LEGO.

What platform is LEGO Chima Online on?

LEGO Legends of Chima was going to be available on PC and iOS platforms. Players would have been able to enjoy the game on their personal computers or iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads.

Why did Legends of Chima end?

The Legends of Chima theme, including the Legends of Chima Online game, came to an end primarily due to the higher popularity and success of the LEGO Ninjago theme. Despite having a significant fan base, Legends of Chima couldn't match the sustained popularity of Ninjago. As a result, LEGO decided to retire the Legends of Chima theme, including the associated game, to focus more on Ninjago and other successful LEGO themes.
