Those who never heard of the One Piece franchise must have been living under a rock. In 1997 a very popular manga titled "One Piece" and its story takes place on an imaginary planet that is mostly covered in a body of water divided into 4 regions by the Red Line and the Grand Line. The former is a land mostly made of mountains and the latter is a very calm region of the ocean. The 2 lines cross one another perpendicularly. 

The first episode of the animated One Piece series aired in 1999. The franchise also contains:

• 14 animated feature films
• 1 original video animation

This listing is for the One Piece Collection 1 DVD. The listing contains the first 26 episodes of the show, whereas the first season has 61 episodes. You can choose to watch the episodes either dubbed into English or in Japanese with English subtitles.
