In 1956, Budapest became the epicenter of revolution as waves of protest sweep Eastern Europe. Players dive into the heart of the Hungarian uprising, with one commanding Soviet forces and the others leading the revolutionary fighters. As tensions escalate, the struggle intensifies, with the fate of the revolution hanging in the balance.

Days of Ire: Budapest 1956 unfolds over seven pivotal days in October. The Soviet player strategically deploys resources and employs tactics to suppress the uprising, while the revolutionary players collaborate to rally support, gather resources, and resist oppression. The game's card-driven mechanics, reminiscent of renowned titles like Twilight Struggle, drive the narrative forward, shaping the outcome of the conflict.

As the revolutionaries, players must navigate the challenges of resistance, managing their positions, coordinating actions, and bolstering morale to withstand the onslaught of militia, snipers, and Soviet tanks. Drawing inspiration from cooperative classics like Pandemic, teamwork is essential for success, offering accessibility to players new to the genre.

The outcome hangs in the balance as players face off in a battle for survival and freedom. Will the revolution triumph, or will the forces of oppression crush the hopes of the people? The fate of Budapest rests in the hands of those brave enough to challenge the status quo and fight for a better tomorrow.
