Kanamemo is a slice-of-life anime that follows Kana Nakamachi, a middle school girl whose life takes a dramatic turn after the passing of her grandmother, leaving her without a home. Seeking shelter, Kana stumbles upon the Fuhshin Gazette, a small local newspaper delivery business. The Gazette offers her a place to stay on the condition that she works for them, marking the beginning of her new life.
