Some people are fascinated by trains, sometimes from a very young age. This very well-known fact couldn't be ignored by the design team at Lego who created the LEGO City Trains Level Crossing building set.
Through it, you can raise and lower the crossing gates when the train passes. You can even repair the tracks, should they need that. For this task, you'll need the road-rail excavator, a vehicle that can be driven on its regular tires to cross the tracks, or on its special rail wheels for when it needs to run on the tracks.
This is not the first version of this train crossing set. The first one was released in 2003 and this one dates back to 2010. This 7936 construction set comes with a railroad worker mini figurine. It has a total of 142 pieces.
Other features of the set include:
- 4 straight tracks
- An excavator that can rotate 360 degree
- Hook and shovel attachments for the excavator
The only disadvantage is that you can't use the tracks with the LEGO 9V trains.
