Product Information

Tensions in the Middle East have erupted into full-scale conflict, and the fate of a vital global oil supply hangs in the balance. In Light Division: Flashpoint in the Gulf!, players command opposing military forces in a high-stakes battle for the Strait of Hormuz. The 29th Light Division has been deployed to seize and hold the region, awaiting reinforcements, but Iran’s Revolutionary Guard won’t give up without a fight. Meanwhile, global powers watch closely—will the Soviet Red Army honor its mutual support treaty and intervene?

Designed for two players, this deeply strategic wargame immerses them in a near-future military showdown. It tests their ability to deploy forces, manage reinforcements, and react to shifting geopolitical threats. The battle unfolds with intense tactical decisions, and every move could change the course of history.

With a mix of real-world military strategy and hypothetical scenarios, Light Division challenges players to think like battlefield commanders and navigate the complex web of modern warfare. Will the 82nd Airborne arrive in time to turn the tide? The fate of the Gulf is in your hands.

The near future. After years of simmering, the Middle East has exploded into conflict. Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz, choking off the West’s vital oil supply. In 1980, Carter couldn’t invade Iran and rescue the hostages because to do so might enrage the Soviets and touch off a world war. This time, the sky may be ready to come crashing down: the border warings to invoke an old treaty promising support. Carter’s Christmas Surprise never happened – now the 29th Light Division is to take the Strait, hold it, and wait for reinforcements.

  • Can the Light Division stop the Iranian Revolutionary Guard?
  • Will Gorbachev’s Red Army move to the mutual support treaty and come to the aid of their “friends?”
  • And, finally, will the 82nd Airborne get to the Strait in time?

Light Division is an advanced game, for two players, depicting a hypothetical conflict in the near future.

If you need more help, send us an email at hello@poggers.com or call us at our warehouse (262-476-5047) on Mon - Fri 10am - 5pm CST and we'll help you out!

Poggers Frequently Asked Questions

We fulfill orders as quickly as possible when we're at the Poggers warehouse, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST—usually within 24 hours of receiving your order. If you place an order over the weekend, it will be fulfilled that following Monday. We aim to hand the package to the shipping carrier within 24 hours, but depending on when the order was placed and how busy we are (we're a small family business, after all), it may take up to 48 hours to get it into the carrier's hands.

The time it takes for your order to arrive depends on the shipping method you choose and when we fulfill the order, as explained above. Carriers typically have a 24-hour handling time before your package enters their system and they start counting the shipping days.

For example, if you select a 3-day shipping method on Monday, the carrier will likely receive it on Tuesday and won't begin counting the 3-day shipping until Wednesday, meaning you should expect it to arrive by Friday, Saturday, or possibly even the following Monday, depending on whether that carrier operates on weekends (e.g., UPS usually does not deliver on weekends). Due to the variability in shipping times, we strongly suggest placing your order as soon as possible if it's time-sensitive.

We're located in a small town of around 2,000 people named “Belgium” in the state of Wisconsin, USA. And no, it's not the country of Belgium—it's a tiny town called “Belgium” that you probably haven't heard of. There's not much going on here, but we do have a nice gas station that recently opened, where we usually get our morning coffees!

Poggers is the best toy store in the world, of course! Well, we might be a little biased... (probably). We're a small, family-owned and operated business with just a handful of employees working out of a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse in the Midwest, USA. We sell all kinds of toys, games, collectibles, anime merchandise, and pretty much anything you’d want if you like having fun!

It's true that when you place an order, we make a couple of bucks, but instead of helping those super-rich shareholders of massive corporations get even richer, you can support us!

To be transparent, we're currently saving up to open our first brick-and-mortar location, so every order helps! We're trying to build a really cool and fun business, with (hopefully) a store that makes you say, “Wow, this place is cool!” when you walk in. The only way we can do that is with your support. So please help us out by clicking that “Add to Cart” button!

Love it!

★★★★★ Taber Long

Fits exactly as I was hoping! I've struggled to find a hat that has a theme I like while not having a massive dome that makes it look huge when worn. Quality is superb. Also love being able to support a small business that appreciates their customers!

What Other People Say About Poggers

One big wholesome nerdy family.

Just a very fast, friendly, group that feels like a classic family owned toy shop.
Every step of the way, they made sure my package was sent, tracking data and even wanted to make sure it arrived. Like a friend wanting to make sure your present arrived on time.
When it arrived, there were surprises as well, which wasn't necessary, but made me smile.
I ordered a card game, but friends of mine have ordered figurines and plush toys and have had also a great experience.
The fact this was placed during Thanksgiving and during a rough weather storm in Wisconsin was equally amazing!I
love this group and recommend it, even if it's $2-3 more compared to Amazon and other Retailers, this is such a caring retailer.
Give it a try, the service stands out!
