Shining Resonance Refrain is a game part of the Shining series. "Shining Resonance" is a Japanese-only game version. This listing is a remastered version of that one. One of the special features of this game is the dual audio in Japanese and English. The original release date for the Japanese-only version is 2014 and it was an exclusive PS3 game. "Refrain" was released in 2018 for more gaming systems. 

This game installment includes:

• all of the original DLC content in the “Original Mode”
• a new “Refrain Mode”

This new Refrain mode allows players to unlock both Imperial Princess Excella and Dragonslayer Jinas. These 2 characters were previously unplayable. You can replay the game, and others suggest you first go through the Original Mode and then go through "Refrain."
