Manufacturer Description

This expansion includes two survivors and their Zombivor counterparts both designed by Edouard Guiton.

Born in Chicago on March 30, 1977 to a French father and Franco-Belgian mother, Edouard Guiton grew up in the Paris suburbs. He became passionate about drawing very early, never imagining that sketching monsters, warriors, and other childish fantasies could be a job.

In 1997, he participated in the creation of the game production company Rackham, co-founded by his brother Raphaël Guiton. Edouard worked as Rackham’s main character designer for many years, in addition to working on illustrations, covers, and concepts for different game and video game publishers.

Edouard’s first comics, produced by Soleil, appeared in 2009. In that same year, Edouard began working with Ankama, an important, young French company, producing cartoons, video games, games, toys, and comics. Edouard lives and works in Paris.

Doud had a spectacular skateboard accident mere hours before the zombie invasion. He awoke in turmoil, as infected people were turning into zombies and began to attack anyone in sight. His will to live, however, was stronger than the zombie tide. Doud took anything he could find and turned it into a weapon until he found his first real weapon. He was the one to Molotov the Hospital Central and turn it into a funeral pyre. Despite his awesome feat, Doud still has to be taken care of. Finding medical supplies in a devastated town isn’t easy. Hopefully, his new buddies will help him heal, and once he’s in the green again... Payback time.

TOMIKO the PSYCHOTIC BUNNY
“Choppity-chop-chop!”

Little is known of Tomiko’s life before the zombies came. There are whispers that she was an anime cosplayer, a video game fanatic, or even an employee at an amusement park. However, people are in total agreement that she is now crazy. Even zombies seem to avoid Tomiko when she walks down the middle of the street shouting the only words she ever speaks, ‘Choppity-chop-chop!’ Tomiko is good in a fight, wielding her axe with psychotic vigor. Unfortunately, in the heat of battle she often doesn’t distinguish between the living and the dead, and for this reason, she never lasts long with any survivor group.

GAME OVERVIEW:

Space Movers: 2201 is a cooperative sci-fi adventure board game that takes place in the year 2201. You and your fellow players play the role of crew members on board the space ship Liberty, which specializes in picking up and delivering cargo from planet to planet in the system. Your job as a Mover is to get the cargo to its destination as efficiently as possible while avoiding drawing too much attention from the Universal Oversight (UO).

The UO is the corrupt and evil government elected by the planets to police the system. They watch all movement through the system to keep order and dispatch UO Scouts to chase down and interrogate Movers who have been spotted delivering cargo. If you draw too much attention from the UO, your job will become impossible. You and your fellow players must work together to deliver cargo, avoid UO Scouts, and quickly handle any Events that pop up along the way.

To win the game, you need to complete a set of five Objective Cards. These cards directly continue the story that begins in the included graphic novel Finding Liberty. A 20-card random objective card deck will also be included with the game, allowing players to choose five cards from this deck for a fresh experience each game.

UNIQUE DICE-ROLLING MECHANIC:

One of the most unique features of Space Movers: 2201 is its dice-rolling mechanic. The game box includes a specially designed roll board where rolls take place, one die at a time instead of all at once. For each skill needed in the check, one die will be rolled needing a 5 or higher for success. Players are encouraged to strike dice already rolled in an attempt to change the result as needed. After all the dice are rolled, one last roll is made using the blank six-sided die, signaling the end of the skill check and giving the player one last attempt to change any previous die results.

COMIC BOOK AND GAME SOUNDTRACK:

The game comes with a 20-page comic book called "Finding Liberty" that sets the story and tone for the game. Players can continue the story as they complete objective cards that match the comic book. Additionally, players can listen to the official game soundtrack on their computer or smartphone for an immersive experience.
