My Hero Academia was a hit right out of the gate. Season one introduced us to the main cast of lovable goofballs and had some pretty high stakes. But what made most people love this series was the depth and excitement that was brought during season two with the Hero Killer Stain arc. There was a high emotional weight with Iida’s brother being attacked and Izuku learning to control his new powers. Most of all, the final battle between Izuku, Shoto, and Iida vs. Stain.

What’s not to like about this Izuku Midoriya (Deku) vs. Stain statue? It’s big, exciting, and insanely detailed. Each part of this statue is finely crafted and sculpted to perfection. Stain’s smirk tells us that he’s not taking this fight seriously. Izuku’s expression shows that he’s about to prove him wrong. The depiction of one of the best fight scenes in the anime would be perfect on any collector’s shelf.

Okay, okay, I get it. This probably shouldn’t be on the list of best My Hero Academia figures because it’s a Hello Kitty character. However, how can it not be? Look at how cute Tuxedo Sam looks dressed as the Half-Hot, Half-Cold hero, Shoto?

This is just one of the several My Hero Academia x Sanrio characters crossover, but this Tuxedo Sam Todoroki Funko Pop is without a doubt the cutest. It’s a Funko Pop, so it has a solid vinyl construction. The little details are what makes this an excellent figure. Look at Sam’s bowtie! It’s like Shoto’s hair! It’s perfect for the Hello Kitty or My Hero Academia fan in your life.

Small size, can fit on any desk |
I’m going to start some fights. Ochaco Uraraka is Best Girl and no one can tell me otherwise. Her quirk, Float, is one of the best rescue quirks out there. She’s very smart, hard-working, and caring. Not only that, her arc at the end of the series is one of the better ones. She captured the hearts of Izuku and fans alike when she debuted in the first season.

This Ochaco Uraraka figure is made of high quality PVC and stands at 5.1” tall. It’s the perfect size to fit on a desk or shelf to show your allegiance to the best of the best. The chibi styling of this Banpresto Q Posket series figure fits Uraraka perfectly, considering she’s already so adorable. She’ll make a fine addition to any My Hero Academia collection!

Best Girl Uraraka |
Throughout the series, Izuku Midoriya learns to control his powers in a way that works with his body. He initially started fighting with punches like his hero, All Might. However, when he almost lost complete use of his arms, he decided to try something different. Izuku’s Shoot Style is done with kicks and air blasts since his legs were always stronger than his arms. It has since become his signature attack style.

Since Izuku’s Shoot Style has become so iconic, why not immortalize it in this Manchester Smash Statue? This Izuku Midoriya figure, made with durable materials, shows off Izuku’s signature fighting style in, well, style. The lightning coursing through his body is from his quirk, One for All, which gives him immense power in his punches and kicks. This kick, the Manchester Smash, is an ultimate move that can take down any bad guy. Standing at just under 11.5”, this makes an excellent centerpiece to any anime shelf.

Cons |
Shoot Style fighting style is highlighted |
Tears not included |

Cool statue base |

Very detailed statue |
Shoto Todoroki, the tortured soul of Class 1-A. Raised by a narcissist (and number 2 hero), he was created to have the ultimate quirk. His Half-Hot, Half-Cold quirk gives him the best of both worlds. Throughout the series, he opens up to his classmates and makes friends for the first time in his life. Not to mention, he’s incredibly smart.

This Shoto Todoroki statue shows how, by the end of the series, he was able to switch seamlessly between his quirks. The ice and fire are incredibly detailed, even showing some pocks and cracks in the ice. His determined face shows that he is not one to take lightly. His hero costume looks exactly like it does in the anime.

Cons |
Shows off both sides of his quirk |
Shoto comes off as a little hot and cold |

Kotobukiya ARTFX J Series |
Tamaki Amaji, otherwise known as Suneater, became an instant fan favorite after his debut in season three. He was a member of the Big Three, the top three students in all of UA academy. His quirk, Manifest, gives him the ability to grow attributes of whatever creature he eats. Despite being seen as one of the best of the best, he is incredibly shy and self-conscious about his powers. He’s just like me, for real!

This Tamaki Amaji figure is top notch. His costume is the best part of this figure. It is meticulously painted with all of the little details of his anime counterpart. He’s in his base form, so he doesn’t have any animal appendages. This gives you the opportunity to imagine the possibilities of his quirk and what it might look like on your awesome statue!
Pros |
Cons |
Very detailed costume |
Might be too shy to be displayed |
Collectable and cool |

Banpresto - The Amazing Heroes |
Tsuyu Asui was another instant hit among fans. Her design encapsulated her quirk so well that people couldn’t help but love her. Her quirk, Frog, is exactly what it says on the tin. She has the abilities of a frog: long sticky tongue, webbed feet, big jumps, the works!

ABYstyle did an awesome job with this Tsuyu Asui sculpture. Even though she is a non-articulating figure, you can still tell she’s got hops. Her dynamic pose coupled with a raised base shows that she’s ready to hop into your cart and onto your shelf! The best part? The tongue is detachable. That’s right, you can remove the long tongue if that weirds you out.
Pros |
Cons |
Detachable tongue and base |
Non-articulating, so she can’t REALLY hop |
7” tall |
Very detailed costume |
Another of UA’s Big Three, Mirio Togata aspires to save a million people, giving him his hero name Lemillion. Before Izuku came along, he was in the running to get One for All from All Might. He’s one of the best heroes out there. He stole our hearts after showing how much he cared for Eri during the Overhaul arc.

This Mirio Togata figure is a must have for any My Hero Academia fan. This statue, made of PVC and ABS materials, is sturdy and strong, much like Mirio himself. His billowing cape is rendered in beautiful detail. He is ready to punch his way to saving those millions. The colors on this statue are bright and brilliant, not to mention that excellent smile.
Pros |
Cons |
Shows off Mirio’s perfect smile |
Eri not included |
Compact and easy to display |
PVC and ABS materials |
The leader of the Meta Liberation Army, Re-Destro, is a divisive character in My Hero Academia. His quirk is very powerful and his presence is dominating. However, the way he kowtows to Shigiraki in the aftermath of the war makes him feel a lot less imposing.

However you may feel about this villain, this Re-Destro Funko Pop is a great encapsulation of his introduction. He’s in a suit, looking like someone who is ready to throw down. He’s swatting someone who got in his way. He wants to make the Meta Liberation Army the strongest he can, by any means necessary. It’s hard to capture that in a Funko, but this does a great job doing just that.
Pros |
Cons |
Re-Destro’s Meta ability on full display |
It may stress you out too much |
Dynamic pose |
Funko Pop, so easy to display |
Denki Kaminari is just a goofball. If he uses his quirk, Electrification, too much, he essentially fries his brain, leaving him with what seems like one brain cell. It’s an incredibly useful quirk and was instrumental in the final war arc. Not to mention his really cool design and hero costume. Look, he’s just a cool guy, okay?

This Denki Kaminari figure is part of the Banpresto Q Posket series, like the Uraraka figure from earlier. He’s been chibified and, much like Uraraka, it suits him well. The part that shines the most here is his hair. Kaminari has some really iconic hair and it is faithfully recreated in this figure.
Pros |
Cons |
Chibi-style fits Kaminari’s style a bit too well |
Fully charged, so no silly Denki face |
Alternate costume design |

Detailed display box |
Himiko Toga. Love her or hate her, she is one of the most popular characters in the series. This yandere villain’s quirk allows her to become whoever she drinks the blood of for a short period of time. This gives her the power to copy quirks for a short period of time as well. She mostly has a good heart, but her quirk makes her villainous in the eyes of humanity. Well, and the people she killed, but we don’t have to get into that.

Even if you don’t like her, you have to admit that this Himiko Toga figure from Banpresto captures her character perfectly. She has a knife in her hand, ready to draw blood from those she loves. Her smile is a reminder of the joy she gets from becoming the people she drinks from. She’s in a dramatic pose, knife flying wildly much like her emotions. If you are a fan of villains, this is a must have for your collection.
Pros |
Cons |
Captures her expression well |
Does not transform if you feed her your blood |
Very detailed costume |
Villainous, lifeless stare |
All Might. The Symbol of Peace. His iconic smile is the first thing citizens see after being saved and the last thing villains see before they are knocked out. He’s the greatest hero of all time. Little is known about his mysterious quirk, One for All, but it definitely packs a punch. At the start of the series, he joins as a teacher at UA High. His mission? Find a worth successor to inherit One for All.

GO BEYOND with this incredible Golden Age All Might statue! He stands at a staggering 11” tall (most of this due to his hair). His body is meticulously sculpted from PVC. He’s even drawn in a different artstyle! His arms are articulating, so you can raise his fist in his iconic pose after the battle with All for One. The base is heavy and magnetic so it can go pretty much anywhere. This is a must have for any fan of the series.
Pros |
Cons |
Iconic costume |
Cannot eat its hair to gain One for All |
Articulating arms |
11” PVC figure |
Look, we all hate him, right? At least at the beginning, right?! He’s a bully. He tells Izuku to jump off the school building! In the FIRST EPISODE! However, seeing his character grow and change throughout the series, going from Lord Explosion Murder to Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, is a stellar character arc. There is a lot of depth to Bakugo, at least after the first season.

This Monochrome Katsuki Bakugo figure is a perfect way to add some dramatic flair to your collection. The figure perfectly shows off typical Bakugo attitude with his hands clenched and face contorted in rage. His hero costume is incredibly detailed, from his hair spikes to the wrinkles in his pants. The black and white aesthetic gives an artsy flair to an otherwise hilarious statue.
Pros |
Cons |
Monochrome design |
The monochrome doesn’t show off Bakugo’s costume colors |
Iconic Bakugo stance |

Excellent details |
Introduced in the latter half of the series, Hawks became an instant hit. He became the new Number 2 hero after All Might retired. He immediately put that title to good use by becoming a double agent for the good guys, infiltrating the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Army. He is portrayed as the perfect hero, but struggles with some dark decisions he has to make in his role as double agent. His wings are his trademark look and can be used to create weapons for him.

Hawks is one cool dude. This Hawks statue really hits the mark in portraying that. He’s standing on rocks, wings flared, sword in hand, ready for battle. The wings are meticulously detailed. It looks like you can pluck one straight off his back. His jacket looks just like it does in the anime, right down to the fluffy border. He’s also the perfect character to bridge the gap between your hero and villain figures!
Pros |
Cons |
Very detailed wings |
He’s too cool for you |
Battle stance looks epic |
Cool base |
Eijiro Kirishima is SO MANLY. His hardening powers were a great help during the raid on Overhaul’s base. He has a gallantry that hearkens back to old time heroes, the type that saved damsels from distress and looked cool while doing it. He pals around with Bakugo, always trying to keep him grounded and from flying off the handle. It’s a full time job, but Red Riot is up for any task!

This Eijiro Kirishima figure is decked out in his Red Riot costume. Luckily, it’s before he starts hardening so there aren’t too many pointy parts… Except his hair, but that’s just anime figures for you! The figure shows off his fighting stance in stunning detail. The colors on this are phenomenal. Each red paint is different, preventing it from looking washed out. He’s a very manly addition to any shelf!
