Manhwa Is Finished; Season 3 Release Date Unconfirmed |
For a series that’s already made waves with its first season, the second season of the Solo Leveling anime series was nothing short of spectacular. It not only swept the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 and bagged Anime of the Year, but has already made itself a highly revered and anticipated cinematic masterpiece.

For a series that provides as much comic relief as action, Dandadan has done quite well for itself, especially with its second season, which aired between July to September 2025. The first season had its fair share of mind-blowing sci-fi and supernatural feats, but its latest package went beyond the astral and delivered an astonishing piece that has fans wishing for the continuation as soon as it can be ready.

Season 3 Set To Be Released in Oct. 2026 |
In adapting the light novel’s third and fourth volumes, the 2025 release of The Apothecary Diaries has outpaced a lot of other anime series, easily making itself one of the best anime of 2025. Apart from learning new things, what do fans enjoy about this series? The art, story, animation, colors, and themes are just too good. There are just some more unexplainable but interesting elements that are making lots of fans consider jumping into the manga while they wait for a third season.

Season 3 Expected in 2026 |
Look past the Isekai-length title and try to find out what makes this series tick. With a total of 24 episodes now (12 in Season 1, 12 in Season 2), you get a beautiful dive into one of the best romantic comedy anime series of 2025. Using a rather humorous harem concept, where the main character must date more girlfriends than he can handle, the real fun lies in seeing how Rentarou juggles his love and fairness between his many heartthrobs.

Season 3 Yet Unannounced |
After the manga ended in July 2025, leaving about 45 chapters left to be adapted for an anime final arc, hopes and prayers have been up for a third season. For a series that uses a concept similar to Parasyte: The Maxim, Kafka’s story is one of deep intrigue and crazy twists. Leaving a season like this one, on the sort of cliffhanger it did, was entirely unfair, so, yes, there must be a continuation to the series! PLEASE!

Season 3 Yet Undecided |
Here, Marin still shines as the anime’s heart, exuding the same charm but with deeper affection for Gojou. While the animation stays impressive, the new characters add little substance. The second season feels like an extended continuation rather than an evolution, missing chances to develop Akira, Sajuna, and Amane. Hopefully, a third season delivers more.

Having been compared to the likes of Banana Fish and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners for the respective similarities it shares with both, Lazarus has joined the fray of the underrated gems that came out this year. The story throws together a group of misfits (a kind of Suicide Squad) to find a maniacal, Einstein-level genius in a bid to save humanity from the poison-laced drug he created.

Wind Breaker has been tagged as a cousin to Tokyo Revengers, with the main difference being its lack of time travel. Here’s the perfect continuation to Haruka Sakura’s story: the fists fly harder, friendships deepen, and rivalries hit new highs. Season 2 amps up the grit, heart, and street-code justice that made fans fall for Bofurin’s fearless crew.

Dr. Stone is probably the most educational Shounen sci-fi anime series of all time. Set in an apocalyptic world where after few humans awaken after the entire world had been petrified, the story has been a mix of scientific breakthroughs, action, adventure, and personality explorations. From its first season, which premiered in 2019, to its fourth, Dr. Stone has become an undying gem in the face of time and interest.

Season 3 Part 2 To Be Released in Jan. 2026 |
For a studio that’s worked on a total of 52 projects in its 18 years, David Production did put Fire Force at the forefront of its works. The series is one of the most visually stunning, and the third season built on the success of its preceding seasons to hit and break records. Fire is never a good thing, but here, it is an unparalleled beauty, one that would push you to say “fire truly is beautiful.”

No Update About Season 2 Yet |
The life of a hitman isn’t one that someone as revered as Sakamoto gets to retire from. Usually, trouble finds its way to his doorstep or someone seeks him out for payback. Either way, there truly is no rest for an assassin. With its impeccable fighting scenes, it's still a wonder how Sakamoto Days combines peak action with top-level comedy also.

Season 2 To Be Released in 2026 |
This is one of the easily found anime series currently on Netflix, and truly, it is a great watch. As a new addition to anime based on video games, this is an edgy, high-octane reboot of the classic Devil May Cry series by Capcom. Honestly, you should probably go see it first before any other anime on this list. If you’ve played the games, add the anime to your experience. If you’ve not experienced either, well… The sales are good this time of year, so pick up the HD collection on your platform of choice.

Don’t let the cover and trailer fool you. They would make you go into the series expecting a cute, feel-good story about friendship and a talking octopus, only to be hit with trauma, tragedy, and tears. What starts innocently spirals into darkness and heartbreak, layered with raw humanity. It’s a painfully beautiful series, the type that even you won’t hesitate to recommend to friends.

Few realize how rare writing like this is. It’s an intricate weave of personal stories forming one grand narrative. One wherein every interaction feels raw and meaningful, every character given depth and purpose. Nothing is wasted; every frame, name, and design choice feels intentional. This is storytelling mastery at its finest; solid proof that in 2025, anime truly outdid itself.

Summer 2025 was truly a time to be alive. Solo Leveling opened the floors of peak entertainment this year and Gachiakuta seems intent on rounding up where the former left off. Among all things, its momentum is over-the-top! With art style that’s synonymous with Fire Force and a dark, Jujutsu Kaisen-like vibe, the series slaps with its sinusoidal mix of humor, chaotic pacing, and feral action.

The stress and/or creativity that could be born when a mangaka is studying for exams is nothing short of awesome… At least that’s the genesis of Yoshiki and Hikaru’s story. While this was a sort of chance/trial work from Mokumokuren, the manga and anime series have gone on to become huge commercial and critical successes. The actual storyline and perk? The truth of that lies in just 12 episodes. Go watch it!

As of this moment, only 6 episodes from Boku no Hero Academia Season 8 have been released, and with all that’s been seen, expectations are high for a Deku vs Shigaraku fight. Thinking about how iconic and edgy that’ll be is definitely a chilling thought. But if you’ve never seen the series before, you have just 159 episodes to watch…that’s not too much, hopefully.

Another delectable addition to the Isekai demographic from the Winter 2025 lineup, Zenshuu is an easy 9/10 and one of the greatest original anime ever. It could’ve been a 10/10 masterpiece, but the story played it too safe, predictable, and formulaic. Still, its meta flair and lovable tropes shine. Despite some underused characters, the core cast, especially Natsuko, truly carried it well, making it a heartfelt, character-driven gem.

The best anime award of 2025 goes to Solo Leveling. The series bagged multiple awards at the 2025 Crunchyroll Awards Ceremony held in Tokyo, Japan.
The Devil May Cry 2025 relaunch, without a doubt. The reappearance of Dante, the slick animation, and the ominous cinematic flair that reminded everyone why this series is still so popular went viral on the internet.
Blue Lock Season 2 has practically taken over social media. From wild match highlights to endless fan debates about the fictional Japan’s top striker, it’s the anime everyone’s watching and talking about.
Wind Breaker Season 2 claimed Anime of the Year for good reason. Its mix of raw emotion, incredible character growth, and top-tier direction hit differently and got a great reception.
