At their core, Curse Users are human sorcerers who have and use Jujutsu abilities with malicious intent. As such, this makes them the antagonists in Jujutsu Kaisen. With their skills, cursed energy, and techniques, these antagonists often push the boundaries of what Jujutsu sorcery can accomplish.
From the iconic King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, to other strong curse users, this set of people brings some of the most intense battles (aside from cursed spirits) and emotional stakes to Jujutsu Kaisen. Without further ado, let’s dive into the 12 strongest curse users in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Ogami never fought physically against Takuma Ino, or any other sorcerer during the Shibuya Incident. Still, her Séance Technique, which allows her to resurrect and overwrite a dead body with another person’s soul, makes her practically untouchable. Simply put, she could also use it to shape-shift herself or any other person.
Back in her prime, her abilities made her a highly regarded assassin and sorcerer, revered by many in the Jujutsu underworld. While on assignments in the past, Ogami had no issues eliminating individuals who weren't even related to her mission so long as it helps her get the job done. To complete a mission, she once killed a man's daughter and used her body to kill her target.

Negi is a co-commander in Suguru Geto’s family (or army) of curse users. Even though little is known about his abilities, Negi’s confidence to take on Atsuya Kusakabe during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons shows the confidence he has in his skills and unwavering loyalty to their cause. However, unlike other curse users in their group, Negi might be the only one who’d rather not kill Jujutsu Sorcerers. He would rather just have the world rid of “monkeys”, as he fondly calls humans, to purify the Earth.

Co-commander and Geto’s secretary, Manami is one of the few people that he’s ever relaxed and playful around. For most of her presence in the storyline, all that Manami did was carry around files and issue directives. It goes without saying that her placement in Geto’s army just might place her as the 10th strongest curse user in Jujutsu Kaisen. Sadly, she ended up being collateral damage in Sukuna and Jogo’s fight, as Jogo’s Maximum: Meteor hit and killed her.

Jujutsu Kaisen's ninth-strongest curse user, Junpei Yoshino, was often bullied and initially had no powers. However, he acquired sorcerer skills after meeting Mahito, which enabled him to summon the shikigami "Moon Dregs," a jellyfish-like creature that uses poison to immobilize opponents. Despite his inexperience, he was able to exact revenge and hold his own against Yuji Itadori. His transformation and control of cursed energy made him a dangerous adversary. However, his tragic story made him less of an antagonist to not only Jujutsu sorcerers but also fans and viewers.

Haruta could’ve been another version of Mahito, save for his lesser abilities, which nonetheless, still made him a threat. Haruta is one of the strongest curse users in Jujutsu Kaisen, well-known for his childish/almost idiotic personality, and fearsome combat abilities.
Though he only targets weaker opponents, he was useful in Geto and Uraume’s plan to seal Satoru Gojo. He was instrumental in getting rid of almost all the assistant managers from Jujutsu High. His cursed technique, Kiseki or “Miracles” grants him extraordinary luck, allowing him to escape dangerous situations. He even survived an encounter with Nanami Kento, even if he was beaten to a pulp.
Despite his crude swordplay and reliance on his cursed tool, his luck and ability to land precise strikes make him a threat in battle. Even though he’s outmatched by more experienced sorcerers, his formidability helped him almost kill Nobara and Akari Nitta.

Jiro, just like Ogami, is one of the curse users whose freedom and activities were affected by Satoru’s birth. He is a violent and experienced curse user in Jujutsu Kaisen, renowned for his twisted mentality and vicious combat style. Awasaka specializes in close-quarters combat and uses his cursed technique, "Inverse," to use his opponents' power against them. The harder his opponents strike, the lesser the effect, making him practically invincible to most attacks.
His skilled hand-to-hand combat abilities and cursed energy reinforcement make him a dangerous opponent. He can even confront younger sorcerers like Yuji and Megumi at the same time, demonstrating his status as one of the most powerful curse users.

Larue is one of the few curse users in Geto’s army who disappeared after their leader died. Larue is another powerful curse user whose abilities were crucial in supporting Jujutsu sorcerers and other curse users during the showdown in Shinjuku. His cursed technique, Heart Catch, allows him to smother or fling opponents from a distance, which made him a valuable asset in the fight against Sukuna.
He also used Cutie Honey, another technique to distract the King of Curses, giving Yuji the opening to land a Black Flash. Despite being hit with a Black Flash, his resilience helped him through and his tactical abilities were instrumental in helping him hold his own against Sukuna.

Miguel’s fight against Satoru Gojo atop rooftops during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons seemed one-sided, considering Satoru nearly beat him to a pulp. However, Miguel was still able to hold his own against the special grade Jujutsu sorcerer, even earning him Satoru’s praise. Miguel could be likened to a villainous Nanami, as he’s probably Jujutsu Kaisen’s most calm and gentle villain.
His strength comes from two things; his family’s Black Rope, a powerful cursed tool that disrupts techniques; and his innate technique, Prayer Song, which enhances his physical abilities while weakening his opponent’s. At Gojo’s request, the Kenyan curse user later helped train Yuta Okkotsu, significantly improving the young sorcerer’s combat abilities and control of cursed energy.

Also known as Iteboshi or The Frozen Star, Uraume is one of the few curse users that even skilled Jujutsu sorcerers don’t dare face without very strong abilities or, at the very least, a clear plan. They are among Jujutsu Kaisen’s top five strongest curse users, thanks to their extensive expertise and control of cursed energy. Having lived for over a thousand years, Uraume has polished their skills to a deadly degree and can easily incapacitate powerful sorcerers, as demonstrated during the Shibuya incident.
Their innate Ice Formation Technique allows them to create and manipulate ice and also create devastating attacks like Icefall and Frost Calm. Uraume’s reverse cursed energy technique is also a formidable tool in their arsenal, as it aids them in rapid regeneration, making them almost unkillable in battle.

Kenjaku’s most basic yet formidable ability is his cursed technique, which allows him to swap bodies by transferring his brain into a new host. By doing that, he not only gains access to his host’s memories but also their cursed energy and cursed techniques. He’s managed to live through generations simply by moving from one host body to another.
Kenjaku is hated and feared by many in the Jujutsu community, for his plots and actions have dealt major blows to the community and its members. He was responsible for orchestrating the Shibuya Incident all in a bid to seal Satoru Gojo and the Shinjuku Showdown. These two events concluded with many Jujutsu sorcerers being killed.

The mastermind behind the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Suguru is one of the few Jujutsu sorcerers who became a curse user to pursue a single goal: a curse-free world, which he intended to attain by eliminating all non-sorcerers.
Geto’s innate technique is cursed spirit manipulation, which allows him to ingest and control an unlimited amount of curses, of any grade. He also wields Maximum: Uzumaki, a devastating technique that combines multiple curses into one massive and powerful attack. With the thousands of curses that he’s ingested, his strategic intelligence, and martial skill and prowess, he easily threatens the Jujutsu society.
His skills, cunning, and sheer power made him a leading curse user second only to the most feared figure in the series.
