Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Xbox One

If you ever wanted to travel back in time to the Industrial Revolution, perhaps in England, now you have the chance to do so. However, it will have to be only in a virtual manner through the "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" gothic horror action side-scrolling RPG game listed here for Xbox One. 

In this game, an unnatural force has summoned a demon-infested castle and also revealed some crystal shards infused with tremendous magical power. The main character is Miriam, who is an orphan affected by a curse that slowly turns her body into a crystal. 

She has to save not only herself but humanity as well and for this, she must defeat Gebel, her summoner. Before she reaches him, Miriam must collect, craft, and unlock an array of weapons and other items, then defeat the many minions and bosses of hell that await!

Some of the items Miriam discovers can even change her appearance. Gear and abilities can be mixed and matched to your play style. The graphics are rendered in 3D though the environment of the game is 2D. However, everything changes as well while you play and evolve. 

Besides the objects and spells to be created or discovered, additional characters also await for you to unlock them. You can even play those characters later on.
