It is very likely that there will not be a second season; the author of the manga has stopped writing the series, and the anime is not in production anymore.
In addition, Parasyte would not be getting a second season since the plot has been told in its entirety, all villains have been neutered, and all that pose a threat have been neutralized. Creating an additional season would just act as a burden to what has occurred already.

As much as fans are keyed into the franchise, some, or presumably most, barely know the original source of Parasyte: The Maxim. But apparently, Parasyte is actually a manga that was created and drawn by Hitashi Iwaaki.
However, in 2014 MadHouse developed an animated television series named Parasyte: The Maxim based on the manga, which aired in Japan from October 2014 to March 2015. It tells the story of Shinichi Izumi, a highschooler who fell victim to a parasite in its failed attempt to assume control of his head, thereby ending up in his right hand.

“Someone on Earth had a sudden thought.” - Narrator in Episode One
Kiseijuu, which is derived from the manga series that won an award and was authored by Iwaaki Hitoshi and which was produced by the highly regarded Madhouse studio, has all of the excitement and the powerful plot that was needed to finish off this season with its refinement.
The events of the story take place in a world that is based on reality, in which some parasites have infiltrated earth and are taking over humans. By chance, one of these organisms attempted to enter the body of a boy named Shinichi Izumi; however, the parasite failed and was only able to take control of Shinichi's hand.
In the meantime, other parasites that have been able to effectively take over human or animal bodies have begun to assault the civilians covertly and consume them. In light of this information, Shinichi made the decision to enlist Migi's assistance in his struggle against other vicious parasites.
But aside from reviewing the life and relationships between humans and parasites, it does more to question some human norms and thought processes, and goes even to question human nature on some fronts. But isn’t that one of the beauties of the Parasyte series?

Considering the fact that there is no official announcement regarding the continuation of Parasyte: The Maxim and also considering the way season one came to a close, it is possible to create an imaginary plot for season two, should there ever be one.
But in the event that the series would ever get a season two, it’ll definitely unfold a series of events, some of which would include: Shinichi’s dad finding out about his hand, Murano also finding out about Migi, Shinichi coming across more deadly parasites and endangering himself more, as he gets trapped in the vile schemes of smarter parasites.
One other possibility would be that some kind of clue would lead him to believe that the parasites were the creation of an irrational scientist, and Shinchi would spend the next season to try and find this man.

If Parasyte was to have a Season Two, then as much as most of the characters that starred in Season One wouldn’t come back, there are some that’d evidently and most surely come back in whatever progressive seasons of the franchise.
The ones that’d definitely come back are:

The show may be streamed on a wide variety of anime-specific sites; in fact, it can currently even be seen on Netflix, but access to it is limited in some areas. You can also watch Parasyte: The Maxim on other platforms such as Crunchyroll, and Hulu.
It is very unlikely. The manga has ended, the anime is not in production, and the original story was fully concluded.
Parasyte, also known as Kiseijuu, was created and drawn by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
The anime aired in Japan from October 2014 to March 2015, produced by Madhouse.
Highschooler Shinichi Izumi is partially infected by a parasite in his right hand. Together with Migi, he battles other parasites while questioning human nature.
It could explore Shinichi’s family discovering Migi, encounters with smarter parasites, and investigations into their mysterious origins.
Shinichi, Migi, Murano, Yuko Tachikawa, Akiho Suzuki, Kazuyuki Izumi, Kazuki Nagai, Mamoru Uda, and Jaw.
The anime is available on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and other streaming platforms, though regional access may vary.
